I recently discovered a wonderful book by W. Graham Scroggie, D.D. named, "The Land and Life of Rest - Studies in the Book of Joshua." He does a wonderful job of comparing the conquering of the land of Canaan when Joshua led Israel with the accomplishments of Christ and our position in Christ in the heavenlies.
